What types of payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments via PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover Card. Please note that if you pay with a Paypal e-check, your order will not be shipped until the e-check has cleared. This usually takes 3 to 5 days. Orders paid via e-check will ship on the next available business day after the e-check clears.
Do I need a Paypal account to shop at the Coupon Carryout?
No, you sure don't! While we use Paypal's secure payment processing gateway to process all of our payments, a Paypal account is NOT required.
Once you complete Step 3 of the checkout process, you will transfer to the PayPal website, where you will be presented with a screen showing some of the details of your purchase. You are also given some fields in which to enter your PayPal username and password if you wish to pay using PayPal.
On the left side of the page is a text link to click "Don't have a PayPal account? Click here..." which takes you to a screen where you can fill in your details and use a Credit Card to pay. You are not required to create a PayPal account but your payment will still be processed via PayPal's secure payment gateway.
Do you have a minimum order requirement?
Yes, we have a minimum order requirement of $3.00 before shipping and handling.
Can I change or add to my order?
Unfortunately we are unable to make changes to or add to your order once it is placed due to the additional administrative time and effort it takes to locate your order, recalculate the order total, recalculate postage, send an invoice, and manually update our inventory. In addition, PayPal charges a second transaction fee each time a payment is received.
For these same reasons, we regret that we are unable to combine orders once placed. We work against a postal deadline to ship as many orders as humanly possible and are nose-down in order fulfillment until the mail goes each day. We work very quickly and most often we would not even see your request until after your order ships! Please ensure before placing your order that it is complete.
Can you track my order for me?
If you placed an order and selected either priority or express mail, then the USPS tracking number can be found in the "My Account" area of the website in your order history. Just select the appropriate order from the My Account area and select the "VIEW" button. Once you scroll down the page, you can see the status of your order and any tracking numbers, if available.
While priority mail pieces do not have tracking capabilities, they do generate a delivery confirmation number and oftentimes you can get an idea where your mail piece is by entering the confirmation number at the USPS website located at www.usps.com . USPS is NOT required to scan priority mail pieces except at the destination, and often we see a priority mail package only scan at the destination when it is actually delivered.
Please note that the United States Postal Service DOES NOT have tracking capabilities for first class mail pieces. This is the same mail class that you would use to send a greeting card with a first class stamp. Unfortunately once we place your order in the mail, all we can do is wait for the USPS to deliver it to you. Generally first class mail has no tracking capabilities, but we can sometimes, but not always, track the last known status of your envelope through our postage vendor, but they are not required to scan the barcode on a first class mail piece and it can be "hit and miss." If you have not received your first class mail piece AFTER 7 BUSINESS DAYS have elapsed after shipping, please contact us at info@couponcarryout.com.
Help, I can't check out! PayPal keeps sending me back to the shopping cart and I am unable to confirm my order.
If you have a coupon in your shopping cart that exceeds the quantity we have in stock, exceeds the maximum order quantity, does not meet the minimum order quantity, etc., PayPal will keep redirecting you back to the shopping cart page until these errors are corrected.
When this occurs, look closely at the top of your shopping cart page for a message that appears in RED . This message will tell you what the issue is, and items that need corrected will be marked with an ***. Once you correct these items, you will be able to check out successfully.
How often can I order coupons with "per coupon" maximums?
These coupons are limited per 7 day period per customer. This means that if you order on Monday, for example, you can order again on the following Monday. Please note that we do know when people try to get around these limits by placing multiple orders.
We frequently receive the question "how do I know if I am ordering a limited coupon?" It will be very obvious. The shopping cart software will only allow you to place the limited number in your cart, and it will indicate a "Max" quantity directly beneath the quantity field.
When ordering coupons with per coupon maximums, please note that we will not honor orders placed by the same customer using multiple "ship-to" addresses, by different customers to the same household, by different customers with the same IP address (placed from the same computer) or orders placed in the name of different customers which are paid for with the same PayPal account. If your friend or Aunt Bertha would like some of our limited coupons, they must order them themselves, using their own PayPal account and their own computer.
We will issue store credit (no refunds) for any cancelled orders exceeding the per 7 day maximum. Repeated attempts to circumvent limits may result in our asking you to shop elsewhere. Please understand that we are only trying to ensure that all of our customers have a chance to get some of the hot coupons. Many of you are struggling to make ends meet and raise families in this tough economy and we are merely trying to give as many people as possible the opportunity to save.
As it is impossible for us to place limits on all of our coupons, we do reserve the right to adjust the quantities on any order, particularly in the event of a sell-out of a newly listed coupon, to ensure that all of our customers have the opportunity to obtain some. Thank you in advance for respecting our limits!
Please be sure to read the coupon description before ordering to determine what products it is valid for, the denomination, how many you must buy, and any other restrictions. We provide pictures for the browsing convenience of our customers only, and associating pictures with our coupons is very time consuming process. Often we have to create our listings before we even have the inserts in hand, and do not actually see the finished listings until we put them up. It's imperative that you read the description of the coupon, as that is what always prevails. We strive for accuracy in our pictures, but we must leave it up to our customers to read the coupon to determine its proper usage.
How do I redeem a discount coupon?
During Step 2 of the check-out process (Payment Information), you will see a box labelled "Discount Coupon." Just enter your redemption code in this box. Your coupon will be applied to the subtotal and reflected in your cart after you click continue. NOTE: Discount codes are applied before shipping and handling charges. Certain coupons are not eligible for special pricing or discounts and these will be notated in the description of each particular coupon. Unless otherwise indicated, all discount codes expire at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the expiration date. Unfortunately, we are unable to apply discounts retroactively to orders which have already been placed.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Please always check the home page for estimates on when your order will ship. You'll find that 99.99% of the time we far exceed that estimate and oftentimes ship same day! As a general rule of thumb, new orders placed before 6:00 p.m. eastern time ship the next business day (we do not ship on Saturdays). But to be safe, your best planning is to check the home page for current estimates. All orders are shipped from Ohio, so please plan accordingly if ordering for a sale.
Please ensure that when ordering short-dated coupons or coupons for a sale that your order has time to arrive. We ship from zip 45850 and you can calculate estimated shipping times here:
USPS Shipping Estimate
The USPS does not guarantee shipping times for USPS first class or priority mail and so unfortunately neither can we. We have no control over the United States Postal Service once we turn our mail over to them. Many things can cause delays by the USPS, including severe weather at mail hubs along the route, equipment issues at sorting facilities, holiday delays, etc. If you have not received your first class mail piece AFTER 7 BUSINESS DAYS have elapsed, please contact us at info@couponcarryout.com.
Please ensure when ordering short-dated coupons or coupons for a sale that they have time to arrive before expiring. Since we are unable to control the USPS, we regret that we are unable to issue refunds or credits for coupons not arriving for your sale or before their expiration date if shipped according to our posted shipping estimate.
What if my Order never arrived?
If your order shipped via a method with tracking capabilities, such as USPS Priority Mail, please contact us and we will be happy to track the shipment for you. For letters shipped via first class mail, unfortunately the USPS has no tracking capabilities and all we can do is report the letter lost. Our experience is that 99.999% of the time, the USPS does a great job and your order should arrived when expected. We have had very few instances where orders were lost due to routing inaccuracies on the USPS end and most delayed orders eventually do turn up.
Again, if you have not received your order AFTER 7 BUSINESS DAYS have elapsed, please contact us at info@couponcarryout.com.
If you want to ensure that your order is trackable and particularly with larger orders, we suggest you use USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail.
When you do put up new coupons?
It is our goal to have all of Sunday's new coupons up by end of day each Monday. This is dependent on the timely arrival of our inserts. We also put up new coupons throughout the week so be sure to check back often!
Can I save items in my shopping cart to purchase later?
While shopping, and even if you leave, we maintain your cart contents for your convenience when you return if you create an account and log in before you shop. However, stock levels are not changed until an item is actually purchased and they remain available for purchase by others.
Coupons can "disappear" from your cart quickly as others check out, particularly when there are many people on the website at once ordering the same "hot" coupons. If you see a coupon you really need, we suggest that you purchase it to avoid the possibility of it not being available.
On rare occasions, particularly in the case with coupons that are in extremely high demand, there can be a mad frenzy on the website. When many customers are trying to order the same coupons at the same time, PayPal can allow a coupon to be oversold due to the lapse in time it can sometimes take to send the order back to the shopping cart. This is a rare occurrence but when many people have been directed to PayPal and are checking out at the same time, it can happen. If this should occur, we fill orders in the order received and refund the latest order(s) that caused the coupon to be oversold.
What do "DND" and "DNT" stand for?
DND indicates the coupon states "Do Not Double" and DNT indicates the coupon states "Do Not Triple."
DND5 (or DNT5) indicates that the UPC code on the coupon begins with the numeral "5." In this instance, even though the coupon states not to double or triple the coupon, most cash registers will automatically double or triple it anyway.
DND9 indicates that the UPC code on the coupon begins with the numeral "9" and most cash registers definitely WILL NOT double or triple the coupon.
